Well we have 12 days before we kick off. Things are starting to get exciting but already the nerves are kicking in and we are afraid that we will miss something - a list is born!
I had a ring from Chandra, who is travelling with the group, last week and arranged to meet at home to view our helmets; I ended up spending the afternoon with him at TSS Motorcycles helping him spend his money, but he left a whole lot happier having bought all he needed. Chandra is riding passenger with Andrew and has never ridden on a bike before so this is going to be interesting for them both.
Our bike will be a Harley Davidson Ultra Classic similar to the one above; stereo, easy chair passenger seat (Jude will love it!), cruise control, heated grips; all the mod cons. I haven't done a lot of k's on a HD so getting used to it alongside riding on the right will be a challenge initially but one that I am relishing.
Did I tell you we only had 12 days to go!!?.........
