Well we made it. We finally got into San Francisco at around 7.30pm on Mon 15th, Tuesday 12.30pm NZT.
We quickly said hello to those that were around the hotel, checked in and had a quick shower before it was off to Fisherman's wharf. We were waiting for a tram when this guy with a limo arrived and offered to take us for $5 each.....plus tips.
What a lovely place Fisherman's Wharf is; full of eateries accounting for all tastes; we went Pasta which was fantastic though a little expensive at $30 each but hey you only live once and it was nice.
Walking back to catch the tram our friend was driving past with the limo so we hailed him and he took us back to our hotel. We have only been here 5 hours and already we have had two limo rides.
I like SF, it's vibrant and busy though A little scary I feel if you were on your own. There were a few beggars which wouldn't think twice about rolling someone; thank goodness we were in a group.
Going down to eat it was really cold but milder coming back - heading into the really hot stuff tomorrow so not complaining at all.
It is now 1230 am and I am now going to get some sleep. See you tomorrow.
